Melanie and David

A ceremony on the beach didn't feel like enough, so Melanie and David booked the Taharangi experience and turned their elopement into a two day event. We offer extended photography with this, so started out by photographing Melanie in nearby Greymouth, getting hair and makeup with her dad in a rest home so he could also participate.

After they settled into their accommodation at View With A Room NZ, we headed down to the beach with them and their three loved ones for the ceremony. They wanted to choose the spot on the day, so we walked for a few minutes until they found it - a beautiful rock face facing the ocean with small waterfalls on either side. Perfect.

They chose to come back to the suite for the registry signing, platters and champagne together afterwards. A relaxed, intimate and happy day!

But that's not enough - why not make the most of it? So after another visit by the hair and makeup artist, we set off to the beach again to catch the low tide at the sea stacks. You can see the sense of fun Melanie and David have from the photos. They were happy to get wet and make the most of the time, then headed back to the accommodation afterwards for a relaxing afternoon. What great memories and a special start to married life together. Congratulations to them both!
