Klarissa and Jesse

Why get married in summer only? Klarissa and Jesse braved the cold this week and chose the Pītau experience to elope at low tide on the beach.

We brought their ceremony a little earlier than originally planned to make sure we avoided forecast rain-showers later. That's the beauty of a 'just us' wedding. Flexibility is key!

It also meant we could enjoy photos during our walk as far as the tide allowed to the sea stacks for a dramatic ceremony venue.

What a stunning beach this is. Every couple who has eloped here has connected with a unique part of its magic - it's like a new beach every time you visit!

To the sound of gentle waves, Jesse and Klarissa said their I Do's to each other and started their married adventure together. A huge congratulations from us!
