Abi & Muazam

While most of our couples choose to elope on Motukiekie Beach, we're also happy to venture elsewhere. Abi and Muazam had another amazing location in mind and chose our Pītau elopement experience.

With their families living overseas, their deeply personal ceremony and heartfelt vows felt especially poignant. This was a beautiful celebration of the two of them, full of new memories to share with their loved ones when they were together again.

Gen was absolutely lovely and personable as our celebrant. She made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and ensured the ceremony felt relaxed, natural and effortless. Shirley did a beautiful job capturing our special moments, giving us photographs and memories that we’ll cherish for a lifetime.

A special mention to Carolyn, Shirley’s mum, who kindly stepped in as one of our witnesses. She was such a warm and lovely presence on the day. One particularly touching moment was when she offered to help Abi with her accessories. It brought back nostalgic memories of her own family helping her get ready for the big day, making the moment even more special. ❤️

What stood out most to us was the warmth, positivity and genuine kindness that all three brought to the experience. They made everything so easy for us, and we never once felt overwhelmed or stressed. We could simply be present, enjoy every moment and soak it all in.

Thank you, Gen, Shirley and Carolyn, for making our wedding day so special and for being part of memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! ❤️
