Ayla and Nick

Ayla and Nick celebrated their elopement with their parents and two small daughters. They chose the Pītau experience, deciding to say 'I Do' in the early evening. We took a walk to the sea stacks afterwards to catch the low tide for photos, and wow! What a beautiful couple - we were so glad their gorgeous ceremony and dramatic landscape could bring that out even more.

They write:

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect elopement experience on the West Coast. From start to finish, it felt so easy, relaxed and completely “us.”

Gen, our celebrant, was absolutely wonderful. She’s so genuine and warm, and from the moment we met her we felt completely at ease. She made the whole ceremony feel personal and heartfelt, without any pressure or awkwardness — just pure joy. It really felt like she cared about us and our story, which made the day even more special.

Shirley, our photographer, was just as amazing. She captured the most romantic, whimsical moments — the kind of photos that make you feel something every time you look at them. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and somehow turned every little candid moment into magic.

The West Coast itself was simply breathtaking — wild, beautiful and so peaceful. It was the perfect backdrop for an intimate elopement, and it truly felt like we had the whole world to ourselves.

We couldn’t recommend this elopement package, Gen and Shirley enough. It was such a special experience and we’ll absolutely be back to celebrate our anniversary there in the future. 🤍
