Ari and Ezra

Our first couple to choose to walk all the way to the sea stacks for their ceremony, and it was worth it! Ari and Ezra eloped with the Paewai experience, inviting their parents to be witnesses. We all carried our nice shoes and wore our crocs and boots as we walked out to the sea stacks to reach them at low tide. Once there, Ari and Ezra chose their spot, where we enjoyed the 360 degree beauty and solitude. Not a bad place to say 'I do!'
Sending the parents back before the tide turned, we took a bit more time to capture photo memories of the day. A very memorable and special elopement that we were honoured to be a part of.

We felt so comfortable working with Elope West Coast. Gen and Shirley met us where we were at, and gave us the space to do things as traditionally or as non-traditionally as we wanted. They're truly so accepting and never made us feel awkward. They were also so flexible on the day - from ceremony time, to making sure that we could have the special photos with family members that we wanted, and ensuring that we were able to get right out to the sea stacks with minimal amounts of getting our shoes wet.
Gen was so warm and it felt like we had known her for a long time as soon as we met her - she just put us at ease and really made the effort to connect with us and our story. She clearly cares so deeply about all of her couples and making the experience unique, individual and special for us all.
Shirley has such an eye for photography and kept us at ease in front of the camera. The photos she produced were so gorgeous, and we were so impressed with how quickly she was able to edit and get them to us! She was also receptive to specific photo requests that we had. Her style reflects how the day felt to us - dreamy, cinematic, and candid.
We cannot give higher praise to Elope West Coast. It was such a relief to not have to do any of the organising of a typical wedding! Gen & Shirley took care of everything, meaning we just had to show up on the day. The champagne and platter were also incredible and went above and beyond our expectations!! Can't recommend Gen and Shirley enough.
